Friendship Path

In my journey of life,
I’ve been accompanied by loneliness and sorrow,
While I persist my voyage,
I remember I crossed a path,
And I took that path,
And I never look back since then,

The path was filled with beautiful flowers,
Laughter and giggles,
Rainbows and sunshine,
And I lead a beautiful life ever since,
Loneliness and sorrow are no longer my friends,
Because the day I took that path
Was the day I met both of you, my girlfriends.

And now you both will prolong your expedition,
Away from this land you call home,
Though we would be miles apart,
I’ll make sure we’ll be walking the same path,
The path that lead us to joyfulness and happiness,
And abundance of love.

Guardian Angels of Mine

When life provides me with hardships,
You pick up my late night calls and listen to me cursing my life away,
Then, you offer me words of wisdom,
Although, when I refuse to listen, you scolded me
Just so that I won’t mourn my life away

When life presents me with heartaches,
You let me dash into your house, hug me and cry with me
Then you help me fix my heart, and hand it back to me
And make sure it is filled with love again
And a abundance of happiness

When life load me with joyfulness
You help me celebrate my life,
Dance with me throughout the night
And laugh out loud with me

For all of that, I am thankful that our paths have crossed
For you help me be who I am today
Able to stand tall, and face the world for another day
